KATAHDIN AREA TRAILS
WHO WE ARE
Katahdin Area Trails (KAT) is an initiative of the Outdoor Sport Institute (OSI)
We work to support sustainable trail systems that –
- Support community connectivity
- Appeal to all ages and abilities
- Help local residents engage in the outdoors year-round
- Promote the natural beauty of the region
The KAT initiative engages volunteers in trail stewardship, raises funds for ongoing maintenance, supports trail-based events and programs, and serves as a key community voice in trail development.
