We are gearing up for a busy summer with trail crews working in a few different locations both on the East Branch and also on Hammond Ridge and Black Cat Mountain overlooking Millinocket Lake and Katahdin. Check our hiring page if you are interested in working with us this summer season
While we’d rather spend our days out on the trail, Katahdin Area Trails mission is much more than that. This new website was created to better inform the community we serve about what KAT is doing, spread the word about volunteer and employment opportunities with KAT, and build awareness of the Katahdin region’s tremendous recreational assets.
We are excited to be a part of a vibrant community of recreation enthusiasts who are dedicated to enjoying and sharing the trails and waterways of the Katahdin Region.
